FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Why do I need an eye exam?
A:  If you have never had an eye exam, it is a good idea to establish a baseline to know what your eyes are like when they are healthy.

Q: When should my child have his or her first eye exam?
A:  I can perform exams on children as young as 6 months. I can determine if the eyes are developing properly and can check for lazy eye. The earliest I see a child, the more relaxed the child will be on future visits.

Q: What type of Insurances do you accept?
A:  I accept most insurances. If you would like to know if I accept your insurance, give the Office a call.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: I accept all major credit cards..

Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: I am always happy to see new faces.

Q: What happens if I cannot adjust to my new glasses?
A:  I encourage you to return to the office so that I can assess your concern.Once I discover the "why", I will strive to solve your problem to your satisfaction. I will never tell you that you will "just have to get used to" your new eyeglasses.

Q: When do I have to pay?
A: I require a deposit of at least half of your total before ordering your glasses.

Q: How do you check for Glaucoma?
A: First of all, I do not blow air into your eye. I have four different instruments: one is done on the closed eyelid, for those who find it difficult to keep their eyes open.
