What Eye Conditions and Diseases Can We Help You With?

If you believe you are suffering from any type of eye condition or disease, or you feel that you are at a high risk for developing these concerns, do not wait to schedule an appointment with our team. We’re able to diagnose and treat a number of eye and vision conditions and diseases in our office, including:

Dry Eye

Chronic dry eye can be an uncomfortable condition in which the tear ducts do not produce enough or a high quality of tears. This creates damage to the lens of your eye and can cause vision concerns. We offer treatment ranging from the use of artificial tears to medications and minimally invasive procedures to unblock tear ducts.

A common condition for older adults is cataracts. A cataract is a clouding or an opaque area that covers the normally clear lens of the eye located behind the iris. Over time this becomes significant enough to limit vision and is the common cause of vision loss in people over 40. Our procedures involve the removal of cataracts. In some cases, removal of the lens and replacement with an artificial product is also necessary.

This condition develops over time as well. In it, the amount of pressure in the eye’s blood vessels builds. This can lead to vision damage. We screen for this condition on a regular basis because it is so common.

Macular Degeneration

Another form of age-related vision degeneration, macular degeneration occurs over time. The center portion of the retina becomes damaged leading to blurry vision. This condition can lead to blindness if left untreated.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Those who suffer from diabetes are at a higher risk of developing retinopathy, a condition in which there is damage to the retina. Over time, this condition can limit vision, but with the proper treatment, we are able to minimize that risk.

We diagnose all of the above eye conditions but only treat dry eye. Using our retinal imaging equipment, we are able to spot signs of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye problems.

Additional Eye Conditions We Treat
